Xavier Neyens, 3B/SS, Astros: The Low-A Fayetteville lineup is one of the most exciting the Astros have fielded in years. Top prospects Neyens and Kevin Alvarez anchor the middle of the order and have become must-watch viewing on MiLB.TV throughout the season. On Wednesday, it was Neyens' turn to fill the box score. The 2025 first-round pick went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and a walk. Neyens is an extreme three-true-outcomes profile. He pairs well below-average contact with plus-plus power and an exceptionally patient approach.
Joshua Báez, OF, Cardinals: Over the past few weeks, few hitters in professional baseball have been hotter than Báez. The Cardinals outfielder stayed locked in on Wednesday, going 3-for-4 with a home run, double, walk, three RBIs and four runs scored for Triple-A Memphis. Báez now has the second-most homers (17) in the International League. The 22-year-old is one of the minors' premier power prospects and is likely to reach the majors at some point this summer.
Josh Adamczewski, OF, Brewers: The bat-first prospect profile is volatile, but there may not be a better bat-first prospect than Adamczewski at the moment. The Brewers' No. 7 prospect went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and five RBIs Wednesday. Adamczewski is hitting .315/.454/.566 with eight home runs over 43 games with High-A Wisconsin. He’s a below-average defender, but Adamczewski has an excellent combination of hit tool and power.
Josue De Paula, OF, Dodgers: The Dodgers’ top prospect has been scorching hot. On Wednesday, the 21-year-old collected his third multi-hit performance in his four games. De Paula went 3-for-6 with a double and two RBIs, and is now hitting .325/.424/.540 with eight home runs over 50 games with Double-A Tulsa. De Paula has a plus hit tool, excellent swing decisions and is growing into more power.
Michael Arroyo, OF, Mariners: It's been a somewhat underwhelming season so far for Arroyo, but the Mariners' No. 5 prospect took a big step in the right direction on Wednesday, going 4-for-5 with two homers and five RBIs. Arroyo had 10 total bases in this game and showed his signature bat-to-ball skills and above-average power.

Baseball America Helium Pick Of The Day
Each day, we’ll pick a prospect that has our attention.
Johnny Slawinski, LHP, Angels: Slawinski was one of the premier pitching prospects entering the ACL season, and he's lived up to expectations. Using a five-pitch mix fronted by a low-90s fastball, the 2025 third-rounder has dominated the competition on the backfields. Through 21 innings, he's struck out 31 and has yet to issue a walk. His strike rates with his fastball and changeup—the two most prolific pieces of his mix—are each better than 70%.

Prospect news and notes from around baseball…
Leo De Vries has been hot since returning from a brief absence because of a bruised finger. The No. 2 prospect in baseball has back-to-back three-hit games for Double-A Midland after going 3-for-5 on Wednesday.
Blue Jays righty Daniel Guerra led all Top 30 pitchers with 10 strikeouts on Wednesday for High-A Vancouver. Guerra was a recent add to Toronto’s Top 30.
Seth Hernandez has encountered a bit more resistance in High-A, and pitching at hitter haven High-A Greensboro only ups the difficulty, but he settled into his start yesterday to strike out eight batters over five innings while allowing three runs.
