Owen Caissie, OF, Cubs: One way or another, it sure feels like Caissie is forcing the Cubs' hand. The 23-year-old outfielder went 5-for-5 with a homer and two doubles on Tuesday for Triple-A Iowa, continuing what has been an incredible run for the No. 56 prospect in baseball. Since June 1, Caissie is hitting .339/.436/.740 with 13 homers in 34 games. Even his strikeouts, which have long been a concern, are in a more manageable 25.5% clip during that stretch. There's no obvious path to everyday at-bats in Chicago right now for Caissie who, as a result, is one of the most fascinating prospects at this year's trade deadline, especially if the first-place Cubs get aggressive over the next week. Caissie has now played 204 games in Triple-A over the last two seasons and is hitting .279/.378/.514 with 39 homers at the level.

Kevin McGonigle, SS, Tigers: McGonigle is in the midst of an astounding month. The Tigers infielder has risen to No. 3 in Baseball America's Top 100, showcased his skills in the All-Star Futures Game and earned a promotion to Double-A Erie. He hasn’t missed a beat at the new level—and on Tuesday put an exclamation point on his hot streak with a walk-off single to lift Erie to victory. McGonigle is hitting .304 with an .883 OPS since arriving in Double-A and has driven in a run in three straight games. Erie's loaded roster also includes Josue Briceño, Max Clark and Thayron Liranzo.

Travis Bazzana, 2B, Guardians: A right oblique strain sidelined the 2024 No. 1 overall pick in May and send Bazzana to the injured list for six weeks just as he was beginning to find his rhythm in his first full pro season. After a seven-game rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League, the 22-year-old second baseman made his return to Double-A Akron this past Friday and he’s wasted no time making his presence felt. On Tuesday night, Bazzana put together a standout performance, going 3-for-3 with three doubles. Bazzana has six hits in his first 12 at-bats since returning to Akron.

Colson Montgomery, SS, White Sox: The past two minor league seasons have raised some concerns about Colson Montgomery’s trajectory as a top prospect. But since making his MLB debut on July 4, the 23-year-old has found a rhythm. On Tuesday night, he provided some fireworks of his own, launching his first career home run in the big leagues. Facing Rays righthander Bryan Baker, Montgomery jumped on a four-seam fastball and drove it 359 feet to right field with an impressive 105.7 mph exit velocity—a promising display of the power potential that once made him a prized part of the White Sox's future plans.

Jhostynxon Garcia, OF, Red Sox: Passwords are meant to be a secret. However, Garcia—who’s been dubbed “The Password” thanks to the unique spelling of his name—is anything but that. Garcia put on a show Tuesday night, continuing to flex his power in Triple-A. Boston's No. 7 prospect crushed his second home run of the game—his 11th of the season with Triple-A Worcester—capping off a dominant performance at the plate. Garcia finished the night 3-for-3 with four RBIs, flashing the bat speed and raw power that have made him one of the most electric hitters in Boston’s system.

Jacob Misiorowski, RHP, Brewers: Call Misiorowski whatever you like—“The Miz,” “Mizard of Oz,” or even “The Mizzler”—just make sure you don’t leave out how dominant he’s been since arriving in the big leagues. With electric stuff, a towering frame and a mound presence that commands attention, the Brewers’ flame-throwing righthander has quickly become must-watch every time he takes the ball. On Tuesday night, Misiorowski struck out seven over 3.2 innings, touching triple digits on 14 of his 64 pitches, continuing to overwhelm hitters with a fastball that’s as lively as it is lethal. Through six MLB appearances, the 23-year-old boasts a 2.45 ERA with 40 strikeouts in just 29.1 innings—and he's fresh off showcasing his stuff on a national stage in the all-star game.

Baseball America Helium Pick Of The Day

Each day, we’ll pick a prospect that has our attention.

Alimber Santa, RHP, Astros: Once an overlooked arm with a history of injuries and inconsistency, Santa has emerged as one of the biggest breakout stories in the Astros’ system. After years of battling elbow issues and poor results—including a 6.47 ERA in 2023—Santa has turned a corner in 2025. Now healthy and thriving in a full-time relief role at Double-A Corpus Christi, the 22-year-old Dominican righthander has overhauled his approach and mentality.
