Eric Hartman, OF, Braves: One of the biggest risers in our recent rankings updates, Hartman has been one of the most productive players in the minors this season. On Wednesday for High-A Rome, Hartman launched his 13th home run of the year. His impressive blend of tools, athleticism and hitting ability gives him some of the highest upside of any breakout prospect in recent years.

Alfredo Duno, C, Reds: Duno cuts an imposing figure at the plate, looking even bigger than his listed 6-foot-2, 210-pound frame. Over his last seven games, the Reds catcher has homered seven times as he’s begun tapping into his mammoth raw power with High-A Dayton. There are more long-term questions about Duno’s ability to remain behind the plate than about his bat, but he’s been very impressive offensively this season.

Ching-Hsien Ko, OF, Dodgers: One of the more unheralded prospects in the Dodgers’ system, Ko has shown an intriguing blend of power and plate discipline. In the first game of a doubleheader Wednesday, Ko went 3-for-4 with a grand slam for Low-A Ontario. Ko has flashed above-average exit velocities and a patient approach, though his contact skills remain below average.

Jackson Lovich, 3B, Yankees: The Yankees landed Lovich in the 16th round of the 2025 draft out of Missouri, and the unheralded infielder has impressed early this season, hitting .315/.396/.647 with 10 home runs. On Wednesday, Lovich went 3-for-4 with three home runs in the first game of a doubleheader for Low-A Tampa, then followed with a 2-for-4 performance in Game 2. Lovich has shown plus-plus raw power and plus speed, but he's limited by well below-average bat-to-ball ability.

Braylon Doughty, RHP, Guardians: Through eight starts with High-A Lake County, Doughty has been a bit up and down. But after a few rough outings entering Wednesday, Doughty delivered his best start of the season. He tossed five innings, allowing one run on one hit and one walk while striking out eight. Doughty’s fastball sits 92-94 mph with good ride, but it’s his pair of high-spin breaking balls that scouts are most enamored with.

Yhoiker Fajardo, RHP, Cardinals: The talented young righthander has now been traded twice in 12 months but looks like he might have found his home with the Cardinals. This season, Fajardo has improved the shape of his fastball, added extension and is throwing his slider harder. His changeup is generating negative vertical break on average, and he looks to have a viable three-pitch mix.

• It’s been a rough month for Marlins lefthanders. Robby Snelling was placed on the major league injured list with a UCL sprain after making his big league debut. Yesterday, the club placed Thomas White on the Triple-A injured list with an undisclosed injury.

• Reds shortstop Carlos Sanchez went 4-for-5 with a pair of homers for High-A Dayton on Wednesday. He’s now hitting .344/.433/.552 through 38 games. Sanchez ranks 20th in the Reds system.

• Red Sox lefty Jake Bennett fanned 11 batters over five innings for Triple-A Worcester.

• A’s lefthander Gage Jump twirled seven shutout innings for Triple-A Las Vegas with nine strikeouts and zero walks. Wednesday’s start was the first time Jump completed five innings all season, and he has walked just one batter over his last 11 innings.

• A level below Jump, fellow A’s lefthander Wei-En Lin returned to the mound for Double-A Midland after missing a start last week with a quad strain.
