New Braves Top 10 Prospects For 2026

Plus: Kevin McGonigle turns in massive two-homer night in Arizona.

Kevin McGonigle, SS, Tigers: Baseball's No. 2 prospect showcased his advanced approach and growing power in another statement performance on Tuesday, erupting for a 4-for-5 night that included four RBIs and a pair of home runs. McGonigle launched a leadoff homer just three pitches into the game—a 406-foot blast with a 107.5 mph exit velocity. He wasn’t done there. In the sixth inning, the 21-year-old turned on another pitch and sent it soaring over the right-field wall for a three-run shot. He’s now hitting .404 with a 1.251 OPS and has been one of the most consistent hitters on the Arizona Fall League circuit.

Fenwick Trimble, OF, Marlins: Coming off a red-hot week in which he slashed .400/.545/.667 and earned the No. 4 spot on Baseball America’s Hot Sheet, Trimble kept his momentum rolling on Tuesday. The 23-year-old notched three hits, highlighted by his second home run of the fall—a 393-foot blast to left-center field that left the bat at 104.3 mph. Trimble also added an RBI single. After a slow start to the Arizona Fall League, Trimble has caught fire, showing the power and consistency during a breakout stretch.

Hagen Smith, LHP, White Sox: Smith delivered his first clean outing of the Fall League on Tuesday over two scoreless innings. He struck out four consecutive hitters—Jonny Farmelo, Ethan Anderson, Charlie Pagliarini and Cam Collier—with three of those punchouts coming on swinging strikes. Smith needed just 23 pitches (16 strikes) to retire the side, leaning heavily on his fastball–slider combination. He mixed in only one changeup, the least refined offering in his arsenal. Smith now has a 2.57 ERA with 21 strikeouts to six walks this year, although he has landed just 51% of his pitches for strikes.

Luke Adams, 3B, Brewers: Adams blasted his second home run of the Arizona Fall League season on Tuesday, a no-doubt shot that showcased his impressive raw power. He was also officially announced as a participant in the AFL Home Run Derby, set for Saturday evening at Sloan Park. The 21-year-old third baseman’s power potential has long intrigued scouts, though it’s still in the process of translating consistently in games. Performances like Tuesday’s, however, offer a glimpse of the kind of impact bat the Brewers believe he can develop into as he continues to refine his approach at the plate.

Enmanuel Tejeda, INF, Yankees: Tejeda entered Tuesday's Arizona Fall League tilt hitting just .176 and in need of a spark. By the end of the game, he had raised his batting average 70 points. The 20-year-old erupted for a five-hit performance, driving in three runs and raising his average to .246. He delivered clutch swings throughout the night, lining a two-run single to right field before adding another RBI with a sharp base hit up the middle. For a young player continuing to find his rhythm, Tuesday’s breakout could be the turning point that jumpstarts a strong finish to his fall campaign.
