Joshua Báez, OF, Cardinals: After a breakout 2025 season, Báez is knocking on the door of the big leagues. His latest argument came with four exclamation points. Facing Nashville, Báez homered four times, including a three-run shot in the first inning, a two-run homer in the third and solo shots in the fifth and eighth innings. He collected seven RBIs and became the first player in Memphis franchise history to hit four home runs in a game. In doing so, Báez bumped his season homer total to 23, putting him alone in second place in the minor leagues.
Bo Davidson, OF, Giants: After a middling start to the season, Davidson appears to have found his form in June. He homered again on Tuesday, bringing his season total to 13 and vaulting him into a tie for fifth in the Eastern League. Overall, Davidson is 18-for-48 with seven home runs in 13 games in June. The longball total is one more than he produced in April and May combined.
Eduardo Tait, C, Twins: Tait was one of the prospects Minnesota received from Philadelphia last summer in the deal that sent closer Jhoan Duran to the Phillies. The backstop has had his ups and downs with his new organization, but Tuesday was one for the highlight reel. Facing Beloit, Tait crushed a pair of home runs as part of his team's 19-run outburst and eventual win. Overall, Tait was 3-for-6 with five RBIs and now has 13 home runs on the season.
George Lombard Jr., SS, Yankees: After a rocky month of May at Triple-A, Lombard had been on fire in June. Through 14 games, the Yankees’ top prospect was hitting .306/.426/.571 with seven doubles, two home runs and a pair of stolen bases. Now, though, his progress might be halted for a little while. The shortstop left Tuesday's game with what appeared to be an injured hand suffered on a play at second base. Whether he lands on the injured list remains to be seen, but his status will be worth monitoring in the coming days.
Ricky Tiedemann, LHP, Blue Jays: After having Tommy John surgery in 2024 and missing all of 2025, Tiedemann was back on the bump on Tuesday for the first time this season. Facing the Tigers in the Florida Complex League, Tiedemann went one inning, allowed one run on two hits, struck out two and walked nobody.

Baseball America Helium Pick Of The Day
Each day, we’ll pick a prospect that has our attention.
Manuel Peña, UTIL, D-backs: After demolishing everything in his sight in the Texas League, D-backs prospect Manuel Peña is headed to Triple-A. In addition to his MiLB-best 26 home runs, the 22-year-old Peña also leads the sport in extra-base hits (40) and total bases (171). His .673 slugging percentage is third in the minors, behind Cubs prospect Owen Ayers. Not bad for a guy who had 31 home runs in his previous 456 minor league games.
