Brady House, 3B, Nationals: House, the No. 98 prospect in baseball, is headed to the big leagues. The Washington Post's Andrew Golden reports the club plans to call up House and recall Daylen Lile after optioning Robert Hassell III and Jose Tena to Triple-A as the Nationals attempt to halt an eight-game losing streak. House has been having an excellent bounceback season in a return to Triple-A Rochester. He hit .250/.280/.375 at Rochester last year, but this year he is hitting .304/.353/.519 with significantly improved power. He hit six home runs in 54 Triple-A games last year and a career-high 19 in 129 games overall. This year, he has 13 home runs in 65 games. House was the Nationals' 2021 first-round pick.

Angel Genao, SS, Guardians: It hasn't taken Genao any time to get his timing back with Double-A Akron in his return from the injured list. Genao went 3-for-4 with his first Double-A home run of the season on Sunday, continuing a hot streak that has seen him get multiple hits in four of the past five games. Genao is hitting .321/.345/.500 in his seven Double-A games since he returned from a shoulder injury.

Nick Kurtz, 1B, Athletics: Kurtz authored one of best moments of his brief MLB career, as he hit a 411-foot go-ahead home run in the ninth inning on Sunday to beat the Royals' 3-2. Kurtz' aggressiveness has been an issue at times–he's struck out seven times this month without a walk. But he is on a tear. He's homered five times in the past 10 games, raising his slash line to .235/.295/.435.

Andrew Painter, RHP, Phillies: Painter's first two starts in June were his worst of the season. His start on Sunday was his best. Facing Triple-A Worcester for the second time this week, Painter held them scoreless for five innings, allowing just one hit, Painter sat at 96-97 mph, relying heavily on his cutter and curve to carve through the Worcester lineup. A pair of double plays helped, and no Red Sox batter got into scoring position against Painter. He is now 3-2, 4.35 at Triple-A this season and 3-4, 4.25 overall.

Noah Cameron, LHP, Royals: Cameron remains a miracle worker. For the sixth time in seven MLB starts, Cameron allowed one or fewer runs while working five or more innings. This time, he held the A's scoreless for five innings, walking one and allowing four hits while striking out seven. Cameron doesn't blow hitters away, but he has five pitches that he can spot with pinpoint precision, and his fastball, slider and cutter tunnel well together. He's been a revelation so far, going 2-2, 1.91 with a .172 opponents average.

Kumar Rocker, RHP, Rangers: When Rocker returned to the Rangers' rotation two weeks ago, he was roughed up, allowing five runs in 3.1 innings against the Rays. Injuries forced the Rangers to bring Rocker back up this week, and this start went much better. Rocker threw five scoreless innings against the White Sox, allowing four hits and one walk while striking out six. Rocker relied more heavily on his cutter in this start, and it worked. Rocker's 2-4, 7.31 stats in the majors this year are still ugly, but they are better than they were coming into Sunday.

Baseball America Helium Pick Of The Day

Each day, we’ll pick a prospect that has our attention.

Luis Suisbel, 3B, Mariners: Suisbel continued his hot hitting with a pair of home runs on Sunday against High-A Tri-Cities. Suisbel has hit six of his nine home runs this month. His pair on Sunday came in back-to-back innings as he hit solo shots in the fifth and sixth. His hot streak has helped to lengthen what was already one of the deepest lineups in the minors, as he's joined by Michael Arroyo, Colt Emerson, Lazaro Montes and Tai Peete.
