Orioles Promotions: The Orioles made a series of minor league promotions that involve several of Baltimore's top prospects, including 23-year-old lefthander Luis De Leon and 22-year-old shortstop Wehiwa Aloy.

De Leon moves to Triple-A Norfolk after a dominant stretch at Double-A Chesapeake. In his past four starts, he pitched to a 0.73 ERA with 28 strikeouts, seven walks and zero home runs allowed in 24.2 innings.

Aloy will head to Double-A Chesapeake after a powerful run through the South Atlantic League with High-A Frederick. He batted .300/.371/.503 with 15 home runs and 12 stolen bases in 84 games. He led the SAL with 99 hits.

Other Orioles prospects on the move include righthander Juaron Watts-Brown to Triple-A Norfolk as well as lefthander Caden Hunter, righthander Joe Glassey and first baseman Victor Figueroa to Double-A Chesapeake.

Mitch Voit, SS, Mets: The Mets are promoting their 21-year-old shortstop to Double-A Binghamton following a 76-game run with High-A Brooklyn.

He batted .242/.349/.396 with 11 home runs and 36 stolen bases while playing shortstop every day for the first time after playing second base in college at Michigan. The Mets drafted him with their first-round pick in 2025.

Voit, ranked as the No. 6 prospect in the Mets' system, produced most of his numbers in his final 50 games in the South Atlantic League, hitting eight of his homers while batting .261/.381/.425 with 30 walks and 25 steals.

Astros Win FCL Title: The Florida Complex League Astros scored three runs in the bottom of the 10th inning to erase a 3-1 deficit against the FCL Rays and claim the Rookie-level league's title in Game 2 of the best-of-three finals.

The Astros and Rays were tied at one apiece after nine innings. The Rays scored twice in the top of the 10th before the Astros came roaring back. DH Pablo Martinez, third baseman Juan Rojas and right fielder Roiner Quintana each provided a run-scoring hit before the Astros recorded an out in the 10th. The final score was 4-3.

Astros righthander Jose Serrano supplied 5.1 innings of scoreless relief, allowing three hits and one walk while striking out three.

This year, the Astros won their first FCL/Gulf Coast League title since 1994. They led the FCL with a 42-11 record and placed top three for ERA (4.62) and runs per game (6.72).

ACL Title Heads To Game 3: Shortstop Steele Hall's 11th-inning fielder's choice drove in a run, and a throwing error ended up clearing the bases as the ACL Reds beat the ACL Rockies 6-4 to force a decisive Game 3 of the Arizona Complex League championship series.

Reds righthander Aaron Watson struck out nine in four innings, allowing just one hit, one walk and one run. Jirvin Morillo's bases-loaded walk in the fifth inning drove in a run to give the Reds a 2-1 lead. A Kamuel Villar groundout scored Cristian Arguelles to tie the game in the sixth. Morillo then scored on a wild pitch in the top of the 10th, but Sebastian Blanco doubled to drive in Eriel Dihigo to send the game to the 11th.

Jesus Colina struck out Jared Thomas and got Arguelles to ground out to start the bottom of the 11th. Ronny Ugarte singled in Blanco to cut the Reds lead to two, but Colina struck out Ben Wilmes to end the game.

The two teams will face off at 9 p.m. ET tonight to settle the title.

Seth Hernandez, RHP, Pirates: The Pirates placed Hernandez on the injured list with a left oblique injury, according to MLB.com's Jonathan Mayo. The 19-year-old righthander reported some side discomfort after his most recent outing on Friday against High-A Winston-Salem, where he struck out five batters over three scoreless innings. The Pirates had been managing Hernandez's workload in July and his longest outing was 3.2 innings and 86 pitches. Hernandez, the No. 7 prospect in baseball, has been sensational in 2026, going 6-1, 2.43 with 118 strikeouts in 74 innings spanning both Class A levels. He is not the only prominent Pirates pitching prospect headed to the injured list. Khristian Curtis, who recently made his MLB debut and ranks No. 6 in their system, also hit the injured list with a side injury, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Jagger Beck, RHP, Astros

Beck might be one of the best pitching prospects no one has heard of. The 6-foot-6 righthander signed as an undrafted free agent in July 2024 out of high school, and he mixes five pitches in a four-seam fastball, two-seam fastball, curveball, sweeper and changeup. Beck has above-average extension, a frame that hints at more velocity to come and a good mix of pitches that move in different directions. Beck is a name to keep an eye on at the trade deadline and beyond.
